Marine
Capitalizing on over 20 years of Commercial & Residential experience, Pinnacle Marine understands the unique challenges of building marine structures in Florida while adhering to strict quality standards. Our goal is to provide a quality finished product at an affordable price by caring for our customers from the initial stage of permitting through the final phase of clean up, and at every stage in between.  We also provide excellent follow-up service and maintenance.
Pinnacle Marine is a full service Florida marine contractor specializing in docks, seawalls, boatlifts, and various marine construction services for private homeowners, commercial businesses, and local, county, and state governments.  Our employees are skilled carpenters and provide efficient and courteous service.
Help protect your investment.  Under Florida Law, if you hire an unlicensed or uninsured builder, YOU are legally responsible to pay Workers’ Compensation coverage and FICA.  YOU must maintain records for inspection and YOU will be liable for any injuries that occur – a boatload of trouble, in simple terms.  Pinnacle Marine is licensed by the State of Florida and is fully insured protecting you, our customer and your investment.

Design
The specific location of your project and the existing regulations pertaining to whether your property abuts sovereign submerged lands or is located on a manmade canal will determine what can and cannot be built on your site. Once this is determined we can design a variety of shapes and sizes to meet these regulations as well as your budget considerations. Whether you are interested in a fishing or observation pier, a boat dock or boat house we can design it to fit your specifications.

Proposal
When meeting with our customers we provide a comprehensive proposal that outlines all the work to be done and all the work to be excluded, so all parties to the contract understand what is expected.  If required for permitting, a design or drawing for the work to be done is included with our proposal.  Our proposals will also include an in depth description of the materials that will be used in the construction of the project.

Permitting
Permitting on the Intra Coastal Waterway, lakes, rivers, and streams of Florida require approval in most cases from the Local County, City and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. In some cases approval from the Army Corps of Engineers may also be required. Typically the process can take from a few days to six months depending on the permit applied for and the agencies involved.   A legally permitted dock enhances your property’s value.   For more information visit Florida Department of Environmental Protection Permitting

Depending on the project and its location, this can be a very demanding, time consuming, and bureaucratic process!! We are pleased to recommend Scott O’Connor of O’Connor Environmental Permitting, Inc. to assist in this demanding process. They are here to help with federal, state and local permitting for docks and seawalls. For more information email O'Connor Environmental Permitting Services.

Products
We encourage the use of stainless steel and aluminum boat lifts that have no metal parts in contact with the water. Lifts that are in the water are subject to electrolysis and salt water corrosion. In most cases metal parts that are in constant contact with a salt water environment only last about two years.
